Kalesha has been a godsend. She listens, asks the right questions to get the most pertinent information, is professional, personal, and redirects the conversation gently when I go off on a tangent about the concerns I have for my kiddo.

She replies promptly; she is very thorough and has our whole family’s complete trust. Well Coast overall has been great to work with. Their procedures regarding communication, expectations, offerings and billing are all straightforward and very reasonable. We’ve been with them for a long time now and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. I’ve recommended them to other families who have had great experiences too.

UPDATE: I have received an apology from a supervisor but I have yet to receive an apology from nurse practitioner Melanie Ramsey. Additionally, I was told by the supervisor that Melanie Ramsey completed my evaluation which is a blatant lie by nurse practitioner Melanie Ramsey- she hung up on me midway through the evaluation.

Extremely unprofessional- I was hung up on during an intake appointment with Melanie Ramsey and no supervisor has followed up with me about this even though I was assured they would when I called the main phone number. Melanie Ramsey did not tell me why she hung up on me or that she was going to hang up on me. There was no referral out. I felt judged by Melanie Ramsey for not being neurotypical and for my struggle to understand neurotypical communication.

Additionally, their online portal system is broken and you cannot use their portal with the same email as you used with another doctor who uses the same portal system.

If someone calls me with even an explanation for the egregious treatment of being hung up on mid-intake I will update my review.

I seriously cannot say enough things about my experience with WellCoast medical. I have been with them for years now. I see two different people, and I could not be on this wellness journey without them, and I’d like to recognize them both.

My med provider, Melanie, is a literal angel. To say she truly cares about her patients is a serious understatement. This woman is one of the most caring, understanding, compassionate people I have ever met. She listens to me and my needs, and thanks to her I’m now on a great medication combination that is making so much difference in my life. Melanie is a blessing in my life and journey, I’m beyond thankful for her.

Melanie referred me to my incredible therapist, Zena. Zena is amazing at listening and understanding, helping me understand why I do the things I do and how to make the most of my life. She has made me realize so much about myself, and I couldn’t do this without her. She is a wonderful human being and therapist. She is very skilled, thorough, and kind.

These two people have literally changed my life. For that, I cannot say anything bad about WellCoast at all. I’m so glad I found this company. Forever grateful. I obviously cannot recommend them enough.

Melanie is a very kind, compassionate provider. She has incredible knowledge when it comes to medication. She always quickly responds to my questions in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a competent and caring provider.

Melanie as a provider is amazing but the billing and office staff are so hard to work with. You can never reach anyone when you have a question and they charge you extra and can never find out why. You have to communicate through their “portal” and it gives you and error whenever you try to send a message through. Been trying for months and can never get a message to send, let alone an answer back.

Rude. Arbitrarily deny appointment requests with no explanation after making you fill out a very lengthy and repetitive request form that ends with threatening to charge your credit card $400 (!!) for cancelling an appointment within 48 hours. Clearly don’t value their clients time or experience.

The reception staff made it a very unwelcoming experience when I attempted to reschedule an intake appointment. The representative did not attempt to problem solve the issue until some awkward pauses occurred. She seemed very cold when I was just trying to get some help. I did appreciate that she eventually gave insight on the problem, but it felt like I was a bother to her. I decided on this encounter to terminate any counseling with Well Coast Medical going forward.

These people deserve to be sued. I've never paid so much and received so little. I signed up for an appointment on September 25th, and in spite of "prescribing" me medication, Knott failed to sign the faxes the pharmacy sent until today, October 28th. He literally just needs to write his name so the pharmacy can order the medication, but that is apparently beyond him. Not only is he grossly incompetent to a degree that shouldn't be humanly possible, I also paid these greedy worms an absurd amount of money. $200 per appointment. And by appointment of course I mean a 15-minute Zoom call. And even then they failed to inform me that my insurance wouldn't cover the medication, meaning that would cost me over $160 per bottle as well. I wouldn't have known that at all if the woman at the pharmacy hadn't been incredibly helpful. If not for her I would just been charged that absurd price completely unaware. Don't go here if you value your time or money.
