After a week of boarding my dog was returned to me extremely dirty and facing multiple skin problems. The staff seemed indifferent to his state at the time. I am waiting to hear back from the manager. My dog did not enter their facility with any of the problems pictured.

Wildcat took great care of our coonhound while we were visiting from out of town. Our hound is a 4.5 year old female TWC who can be very shy and timid. The staff made sure to take the time to allow her to warm up to them and the facility. We were provided multiple photos of our dog and a well written report card. We were so happy with Wildcat and can't thank them enough for keeping our dog safe. The online portal for reservations, vaccine uploads, photos, and report cards is also very user friendly. Would definitely recommend Wildcat to friends and family and would drop our dog again.

We have two doodles (one is a pup, so this was his first ever boarding experience) and boarded them both at Wildcat Country Dog Retreat for the first time a few weeks ago and had an AMAZING experience. We are relatively new to the area and didn’t have reliable boarding up to that point but they will be our go-to from now on! They are so kind, caring, and professional and you can tell how much they love the dogs. Their facilities are clean and they have plenty of outdoor space. We received daily report cards and photos which we absolutely lived for while we were gone, and we were pretty sure that our dogs would have been more than happy to stay there forever! Our dogs even gave goodbye kisses to the staff on the way out. That’s how you know they were happy! We booked their next stay upon checkout and we know when we leave, we can have peace of mind knowing that our fur babies are so well taken care of. I would recommend them to everyone!

This was our first time boarding our dog here. I have heard many good things about Wildcat Country. They allowed me to take a tour of their facility and explained all the extras that were available like the countryside walk. Our pet boarded for a week and she seemed to enjoy her walks. I like how they send a report card update on your pet daily to let you know how they are doing. We will definitely be boarding our pet here in the future 🙂

Wildcat took such good care of my dog while I was in town visiting family. When we had full and busy days, I boarded him so he was cared for when we were gone all day long. He seemed so happy and cared for when I got him back. The report cards were too cute and all of my family loved hearing them DAILY with pictures. Told all of my local family how great the experience was!

We left our new one year old chihuahua here and we could not have been happier! The staff was wonderful and attentive to him. We got daily pictures and a report, so we knew he was doing well. We will definitely bring him back here any time we need boarding!

This was my first experience at boarding my dogs. I typically have someone stay at my house. I was extremely thrilled with the care of my 3 girls and with the communication. One of my girls is a puppy so I got a report card every day after her play time. My puppy had a Blast!! Lots of good pics shared with me as well. I was at complete ease during my time away from them and will be using them again in the near future. Highly recommend Wildcat Country Dog Retreat!! Gina B

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Wildcat Country and would strongly advise against trusting them with your dog. Not only are they already overpriced, but they also nickel-and-dime you for basic services that should be included in the already steep fee. They charge extra to give your dog medication, which I reluctantly agreed to, trusting them to handle my dog’s care properly. Unfortunately, they failed at the one thing I paid them extra for—giving my dog his prescription eye drops. He came with his eyes a gummy mess. This neglect is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of responsibility and care. If they can’t be trusted to follow simple instructions, how can you trust them to look after your pet at all? The staff showed no accountability - they even asked for a 20% tip! Don’t make the same mistake I did—avoid Wildcat Country if you care about your dog’s safety and health. They are unreliable, neglectful and not worth the outrageous cost.
