I have taken my pets here for years. Never had an issue. Until today (11/07/2024). We found a kitten and decided to keep it. I took it in to get a check-up, shots, etc. Kitten was given his first series of shots and was prescribed dewormer as a preventive measure. Paid my bill in full as I always do. A week goes by and the kitten begins to have gastrointestinal issues. We took the kitten back to the vet to due to this. Vet told us it was due to the dewormer and sold us 2-can of wet food and probiotics-Forti-flora. We mentioned that we think the kitten may have an infection, but we were quickly dismissed and were told to mix wet and dry food with Forti-flora and the kitten should be okay. Well, the kitten continued to have runny stool/diarrhea so we took him back (11/07/2024). When we dropped the kitten off, we were told there would be no office visit charge since the issue is still persisting from the last visit. Results of testing came back. . the kitten; in fact. . does have an infection. He was given meds. I went to pick him up and was given a 285$ bill that still showed the office visit. When I informed them what we were told regarding the office visit, they stated that we signed a form stating we would pay the charges. I told them that the person that dropped off the kitten was told the 80$ would be waived and that I understand the testing, lab, etc. charges. I explained that we have brought the kitten in a few times and were told nothing was wrong with him, but there actually was. Long story short, they wouldn't waive the fee. I paid the bill in full and advised them not to miscommunicate/give out wrong information. I have no reason not to believe the person that dropped off the kitten. Again, I have taken my 3-dogs and 3-cats to WVH for years with no problems. I will no longer be doing business with them. Very dismissive vet(s) and less than understanding and ill informed office staff.

Many year happy customer of Winfield Vet. However recently I had to take my big dog in for a suspected UTI. I always bring a check with me, I always pay my invoice in full before I leave. I was surprised when I received an updated invoice about a week after our visit with a new charge for bloodwork listed but I just called assuming it was an error. I was absolutely SHOCKED to be told/argued with that they had drawn blood and ran lab work. My dog did not leave my side during the office visit and barely let the vet touch her and definitely no blood was taken. Anyway, a cautionary tale, things seem a bit different in the office under the new ownership and this experience has left me baffled.

I really cannot thank them enough for getting my puppy and I in last minute for an emergency even though they were completely booked out. From how he was acting at home we weren’t sure what was going on or if he would pull through. They found the root of the problem, treated it and kept me updated as soon as they had any. Not to mention I was a complete bawling mess and they were very understanding and kept reassuring me that he was in good hands. 24 hours later and he is 95% back to his normal self and with some more rest he’ll have a full recovery. From the bottom of my heart, thank you guys for everything and caring for my fur baby. Rex and I are extremely grateful.

I live in Oklahoma and I drive to Winfield to bring my pets to Dr. Carlee and Dr. Kip, they are the only ones I trust! In every difficult time with a pet, Dr. Carlee goes above and beyond with her care! She never pushes you into a decision, she gives you her professional opinion and the facts to help you make the decision for you and your pet. Not only are the vets amazing, but so is all of the staff! Thank you everyone at WVH for caring for Mowgli and Duke. You guys are the best of the best!

I've taken several of my pets there for years. I've finally learned my lesson. They don't tell you what the charges will be. You get a different vet everytime you go there. Its always an expensive fiasco with no results.

They take the best care of my dogs they're always a phone call away even when it is Christmas Day and I have an emergency Carly was there within minutes to take care of my female taking time away from her family to care for her she gets an a+ Plus in my book. They're very reasonable on price and if you want top notch care for your animals this is the place to go.

Overdosed my kitty with a flea treatment, their words about overdosing not mine. Still really sick and that was on June 28. Been back twice. Called emergency line today Sunday and they couldn't be bothered to call back. No empathy at all and it was rheir fault. Guess I'm suppose to sit here and watch her starve and die.

Have been taking our animals here for years and have always had superior service. We live 30 miles away and have a few other places we could go, but Winfield Vet has always been the place we go, no matter the issue or illness. For excellent doctors and knowledgeable staff, this is the place to take any animal.
