Please advocate for yourself if you choose to come to this clinic. I felt like my care was pretty dismissive and that I was often treated like a paranoid first time mother.

At my 16 week appointment I had told my provider that I was having gastrointestinal issues and was told that happens all the time in pregnancy. The appointment ended up being less than 5 minutes and l thought nothing of it. Until later on that same night, when I ended up in the emergency room and needed to have my gallbladder removed.

Then at 34 weeks I had started leaking fluid. I had an appointment where the provider did an exam and couldn’t find anything but told me what to keep an eye out for. I proceeded to have excessive leaking and saw two other providers who both made me feel like I was being a worry wart. One told me it was inappropriate that the nurse suggested me to be seen with her, which made me not want to go. The other pointed out that I had two pelvic exams in 24 hours and didn’t think she’d find anything different. Was only with us long enough to do a quick pelvic swab and left to look under her scope, and had her MA come in to send us home without giving us a chance to ask any follow up questions to her lack of finding anything.

I ended up having to reach out again demanding an answer by the third day and saw Dr. Fredrick’s who was the only one to not just do a pelvic exam and found out that I was in fact leaking amniotic fluid and needed to be induced. My daughter and I both had to get antibiotics but luckily she is here and healthy despite being sent home with no answers after several attempts at trying to get anyone to take my concerns seriously and give me an answer other than urine or discharge.

There are some great staff at this clinic but please advocate for yourself and trust your instincts mommas. I am glad I decided to listen to the last nurse and go back in but I really almost just stayed home because I was so defeated. I didn’t trust that anyone was going to take the time to help me figure out what was happening and that they were tired of having to see me for the same thing they thought was just urine or discharge.

I am a patient of Dr.Bircher at Bridge-view and I cannot speak more highly of their team in office as well as their corporate management/customer service. All of my visits and procedures were handled with care and understanding. I felt heard, and in competent hands. Despite complicated disputes for my procedure, for months on end, this organization worked as an advocate for my health and ultimately saved me from years of medical debt. The providers here all genuinely care about their patients, and we’re very attentive by providing ongoing communication start to finish. Thank you!

I hate to be that person, but I would not recommend the Women’s Healthcare Associates locations to any woman. I had two visits at two separate locations last year to address what has now been over a YEAR of non stop chronic bacterial vaginosis. In those two appointments each doctor spent maybe 5 minutes with me, prescribed me the same antibiotic both times even though it clearly didn’t work the first time, and did some swabs and blood work one time. I only tested positive for BV and neither visit resolved the symptoms. They did not attempt to look any further after months of dealing with the same issue and antibiotics not working. Women’s healthcare associates is charging me almost $2000 for those two five minute long appointments even though they did absolutely nothing for me and did not even begin to resolve my problem or look deeper to attempt to solve it. I found a fantastic new OBGYN that heard my story, instantly recommended to test for some additional bacteria strains and boom, a year long problem solved in one appointment. That appointment cost me $200 instead of $2000. This is all with insurance as well keep in mind. I am beyond furious that I am expected to pay this much money for a horrible service and experience. Please look elsewhere for OBGYN care. Thanks.

Been given the run around by legacy. but the scheduler here is a whole different story. refuses to code a procedure properly despite the constant description on ever after visit summary. Obviously doesn’t want to actually help anyone because she said she couldn’t get ahold of my insurance til today but I called my insurance and got through immediately. They told me the claim was already denied because of the coding they used, and when i explained to my insurance what was going on even THEY agreed they just needed to code it correctly. Instead of just doing their job they passed me around and made notes in MyChart painting me as frustrated and upset for no reason, despite the major failure of Legacy and their staff. I will continue to go to any other medical group after this experience. Absolutely disgusting.

I had an amazing experience at WHA Bridgeview for my first pregnancy and birth of my baby! My primary provider was Dr. Carrie Miles (Frederick) and she was wonderful throughout my pregnancy as well as my delivery at Legacy Good Sam. She’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient and has great bedside manner. I also saw several other providers during my pregnancy and felt safe and comfortable with them all. The office staff is also friendly, easy to get a hold of, and responsive.

I'm really sad to write a low scoring review. If I was reviewing for the services provided through my two pregnancies - I'd rate 5 star as the doctors I worked with through Bridgeview were great.

But this is my review for now, a few years post-partum. I've recently visited twice including one annual checkup. The Dr was super rushed both visits. I'm writing this review because I felt like speed was prioritized over care. The Dr picked up on several of my concerns, and I saw the empathy and concern on her face. But instead of choosing to follow-up she stopped herself and redirected the conversation. This happened more than once on both visits. It made me feel like my concerns were not worth voicing, and it's absolutely not how I want my health treated.

I have been going to this clinic for 3.5 years now and Dr Rangel has been my OB/Gyn. She is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had, is kind, considerate and also an incredible physician. I always feel seen, heard and in good hands with her and really everyone in this office. I’ve had some difficult Health issues the last few years and it was easier to carry the load with this medical team supporting me along the way. They are wonderful!
