Our little guy, Finn, started going here in the fall when he was about 7 months old. Woof has really come in clutch on subzero days and sick days. Still socializing and only about 25 lbs our puppy was intimidated the first time he visited, even though he loves dogs and people. The staff took their time to get him settled in a quiet room while some other dogs came in, introduce him to some calmer dogs, and then work him up to more energy and play, which is his jam. They've got cameras for all of the different rooms in the building and showed me where he was headed when I first dropped him off. At the end of the day, they gave me a "report card" on his socialization, temperament, etc. They also gave me 2 free visits! This place is already beyond affordable. Now that he's 10 months, he's lost much of his anxiety with getting dropped off and we've actually seen him bolt in to greet the staff who love him as much as he loves them. HUGE progress. When he does get nervous, they handle him so gently and he loosens up quickly. They've never lost a collar or coat, and he always looks happy and healthy when I pick him up. Scheduling is super easy and flexible. You do have to book ahead on busy weeks because they are growing in popularity, but they sometimes have openings same day, too, if you call. We've gotten multiple daycare packages for Finn and have used all of them no problem. They also alert you when it's coming time to expire, so you can make sure to utilize all of your visits. Best part is they post photos of EVERY dog EVERY day on Facebook so you can see how they're doing and get a big smiley face. We’ve been taking our dog to Woof Central for 4 years for daycare and occasional overnights and they do such a great job of taking care of the dogs that you don’t need to worry about a thing while they’re there. Every employee we encounter has been very kind and professional.

Our dog has an eccentric and introverted personality, and the staff have done a fantastic job of understanding her behaviors and making sure she’s comfortable and included when she’s there. That means a lot to us and we appreciate everything they do! Thank you!

Woof Central and their staff are truly part of my pet family. My dogs/puppies, a 10 month old and almost 2 year old, have the most fun being in daycare! They come home and need big naps from playing all day. The staff consists of people who genuinely care about dogs and their well being. I trust them 100%.

Granted this is all hindsight, but after filling out an incomplete application it was obvious after my dog showed up for the free assessment they have no interest in taking large breed dogs that have lots of energy. Our dog has never shown any aggression towards any of the dozens of dogs he has played with at dog parks. Additionally , our dog goes to work with us. A place that works with kids and adults. He gets along with everyone. The description of the assessment we received we think was

generalized and fabricated because it didn’t describe our dog at all. He didn’t get a chance after an hour. He is large and tons of friendly energy. At pickup time there was no staff available to followup with , which again makes me think that the staff had no interest explaining more about their response. No accountability or integrity. Sad really.

Post business reply- I couldn’t disagree more with the response. As someone who has owned several Rotts it sounds like the staff is more fear oriented and overwhelmed with a perception that is exaggerated. The mindset described below tells me he shouldn’t be at Woof Central for the very reason you replied with. Its more about the staff than the dogs. Carl has since been other places happily with none of the descriptions you highlighted. Frustrating when people continue the inaccurate stereotype of bigger dogs as aggressive.

Our dog is an Australian Cattle Dog with high energy and she absolutely loves it there! All the staff know her and are so welcoming.

My favorite thing that they do is report cards after her stays with them. They share who she played with, how she ate and how she slept among other aspects of her stay. It is so fun to read when we pick up! There’s also always a little treat attached which Luna loves haha.

I would highly recommend bringing your dog here for daycare or boarding!!

I’ve been bringing my dog to Woof Central for over 3 years now and he absolutely loves it there. The staff is so friendly and caring - he is always excited to go to daycare and play with his friends!! And I’m always comfortable leaving him there knowing he’s in great hands.
