My dog really likes going to Woof's Play and Stay. The Woof's Play and Stay, in S. Olathe is the newest Woof's store. Currently they only have daycare Monday through Friday.

It's been a while since our 3+ year old Husky stayed at Woof's. When the car was several blocks away, she realized where we were headed and began whining and woofing. She could hardly contain herself. It's not enough that I think the place is great. It has Ruby's enthusiastic bark of approval.

Our dog Phoebe loves this place and gets so excited when I bring her. They are so kind and take very good care of the dogs. Phoebe loves to play with her friends here.

If I could leave a negative rating I would. Boarded my dog for five days while we went on vacation. He was in PERFECT condition when we left him, picked him up and IMMEDIATELY noticed he wasn't walking right. He had trouble just getting to my car. When I got mad and upset (obviously) the assistant manager came out and tried to give some BS about him being a big boy and sometimes when in a kennel they lay on their sides for too long. I know my dog and it wasn't him being sore. Apparently no one noticed and in a place full of cameras no one saw anything. No one in the entire place that claims they "worked" with him noticed that he couldn't walk five feet. When I asked the AM "did you see me walk to my car with him and saw the trouble he was having" the response was well that sometimes happens. No it does not. Hes been groomed and boarded plently of times before this doesnt "just" happen because he was laying in the kennel drying off. Terrible place. They don't care for your dogs. Feel bad for the few workers there that actually do their job and like and respect dogs but the couple that don't are ruining it for everyone. I will NEVER take my baby back there. Please don't ever take your babies there, all they care for is the pay that's why they have you pay even before bringing out the dogs. I have filed a formal complaint and am waiting contact from someone higher than the people that actually work in there.

All the staff, especially Becky, Amy, Angie and Mia are so wonderful to our dog. And the groomer fixed an ugly hair cut he got somewhere else.

The groomers are horrible! We shampoo and combed our dog before grooming and they still butchered him.

Very poor communication. We have been taking our dog here for grooming every 3 months for the last 6 years and have also used boarding services. We had her scheduled for an appointment today like always, and they told us they didn’t have updated vaccine records. I found updated records online and she was overdue for one of them by a couple weeks so they refused to take her. They have seen her in the past without updated records, not sure why they were such sticklers this time. I understand the rules/regulations but there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t have received a phone call prior to making the drive all the way there. Unfortunately we will find a new place.

I generally love taking my dog to woofs play and stay at the other locations but my first and last experience with this location was not the best. I boarded my dog for night stay in a luxury suite and when i went to pick my dog up and her whole underbelly was covered in bites and scratches that were obviously irritated. I paid for the room with a camera and was watching it constantly and they are not scratches and bites she could’ve given herself. I called and spoke with staff and no one said any incidences were noted on her account. My concern is that i also upgraded my dog to have one on one play time 2 times during her stay as well as a special meal on Christmas Day. But no one noticed the vast amounts of injuries on her even during that one on one play time. It was neither brought to my attention and I was not notified when i picked her up either. It was chocked up to be “rough play” and never got a call back as i was promised and when the cuts are touched and she seems to be in pain in certain areas. Needless to say I will not be taking her back to this location. I understand dogs do play rough at times but the lack of regard, communication and attention is my main concern.
