We can’t say enough great things about K-9 Defense! When we brought our two Dobermans in, they were lacking confidence, and we were struggling to truly communicate with them. K-9 Defense completely bridged that gap. The transformation our dogs have undergone is nothing short of amazing.

If I could give them 100 stars, I would! My husband and I got referred to K-9 Defense by a local K9 handler we highly respect. We were looking for a reputable facility to train our 6 month female Belgian Malinois. Chris responded to my inquiry immediately, asked a few questions and we instantly scheduled an evaluation a few days later. From the first evaluation, we knew we found the right facility. The knowledge and skill level of every trainer we interacted with was impressive. We felt welcome from day one. After our evaluation, we agreed to the program recommended by Chris and signed her up for an 8 week long board and train program. We received regular updates on her progress to include awesome pictures of her in action. Once her program was nearing completion, Mallory set us up to come in and get trained to communicate with Kharma the way they trained her to communicate. Mallory has remained very involved with our progress with Kharma and the entire staff feels like family to us. We can feel their excitement for us when we share pictures and progress updates with them and each time we return to the facility with Kharma for additional feedback and training. Yesterday I challenged her in a huge way and took her to the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show for her first major public outing. Using all of the tools that I've been provided from Mallory and the team at K-9 Defense, my pup was absolute PERFECTION the entire morning! I could NOT have been more proud and excited as I was yesterday! My first thought was how I couldn't wait to share the experience with and update Mallory and all of the staff at the training facility! My husband and I are so impressed with the team that we are already working with them to train our 6yr old GSD/Belgian Malinois! The joy I've received from building this bond with Kharma is priceless! It speaks volumes since I got Kharma after suffering the unexpected and traumatic loss of my 6yr old female GSD. The team at K-9 Defense has blessed me with an excitement and drive I didn't think I was capable of feeling during my extreme grief. Every day I look forward to coming home from work to do our training sessions together and continue to watch my girl thrive. We are fur-ever grateful to Mallory as well as the entire team at K-9 Defense! Once you decide to trust them with your canine, you find you have a whole new group of family members just waiting to do nothing but support you and your companion in any and every way...any time! I could go on and on about this amazing group of trainers but, I'm sure a lot of people have already stopped ready at this point. 😉 IF you are looking for the best possible group of people to work with your canine....for any reason at all .. K-9 Defense is without a doubt, the best you will find! We regret absolutely nothing and will always be deeply grateful to them for enriching our lives more than we could have anticipated. I am beyond impressed with this place and the staff. I have a very reactive and unconfident German Shepherd puppy. She was around 8 mos old when she entered the 6 week academy. I was told her reactivity and lack of confidence is a genetic issue. If she even saw a dog 100 yards from her, she would lose her mind. She also constantly barked at people.. even my parents who she’s met 10+ times. She would flip and jump and scream and bark, and I had no clue what to do. I knew if we didn’t get this straightened out, she would run our life. We wouldn’t be able to have people watch her when we went out of town or even just bring her in public and go on hikes. We can now take her everywhere with us. The most important thing is to continue training beyond the Academy. Mallory met with us for weeks in a row once Kona came home to continue training and help with the transition. Mallory knows what she is talking about and put all my fears at ease. She has been working with dogs for years and has several of her own. Also shout out to Chris, the owner. You have a wonderful establishment and I would highly recommend this placeto any dog owner with a dog of any age or breed. I wasted so many hours on YouTube trying to figure out what to do about my reactive puppy. K9 defense gave us our life back!

K9defense is by far one of the best dog training facilities in the country. There are not enough words in my vocabulary to articulate how much I appreciate K9 Defense. They are ahead of the curve, and taking things to the next level in the dog training world.

Without them, I would not be where I am today as both a dog trainer, and business owner of Triumph Dog Training. They introduced me to Justin Rigney, who gave an incredible seminar on working dogs all the way to basic obedience and pet owners. Between that seminar, and the training and support I have received from K9 Defense along the way, I have leveled up in every area thanks to them.
