We had never had our golden groomed and didn’t know what to expect. They listened to our requests and loved on our boy! He looked amazing!! We are thrilled they’re local and now they’ll be our go-to!

Our dog has been going to Safe and Hound in West Linn for about a year and half and it has been such a positive experience. The owner is very strict about vaccine status of all the dogs and she invests in staff training and it shows. The facility is clean, the staff are very attentive to the needs of my dog, and they are very good with communication. There is an app that makes it easy to schedule. They also have grooming on-site. My dog is so so happy to go every day and really that is the ultimate test.

When all is said and done, this place 100% deserves 5 stars simply for their customer service and caring workers. My pup has a lot of anxiety and I really wanted all the feedback about how she did during her day care days. I got tons of feedback, both good and bad and I loved it all. Not only that, but it just feels so much like every single person there really cares about your dog. I love the passion. Downsides to this place are the cleanliness, your dog is definitely going to come home with that “dog” smell. The other semi concern I have is that all dogs, regardless of size and temperament, are lumped together. I have mixed feelings about this and I’m just not sure. My only other complaint would be that this place is damn near impossible to find in the dark! Kind of silly, but it was scary trying to find the turn off in the pouring rain in winter. Regardless of these issues, I still feel like they deserve 5 stars. My dog came home more relaxed than at another nearby competitor (Reynolds).

This was the best decision I have ever made for our puppy Toby! He’s been going daily for over three months and loves it! Who can blame him, he is treated like royalty by Shannon and the entire team. Drop off is so fast, and the staff will accommodate individual dietary needs too! The dogs are incredibly well supervised and given individualized attention all day. At pick up the staff is already up and getting Toby ready before I’ve parked my car! I’m greeted by a dog who is deeply contented and a caregiver who reports on how he did and who he played with too. They support positive pro social behavior at every turn, have thoughtful safety rules and are incredibly clean, and the grooming is exceptional! They even offer an exit bath and blow dry for a small fee - what a gift to have a happy, well exercised, sweet smelling dog to start the weekend! I’ve never experienced such exceptional customer service, compassionate care, clear communication, and depth of expertise in one place and am so grateful to have a calm and contented puppy to snuggle with every evening. The staff here are absolutely delightful and always so caring. They always remember my dog's name and are excited to see her. Of course, the pup is always excited to go visit doggy daycare and is so tired at the end of the day.

I absolutely love this place and so do my two puppers. Everyone and I mean everyone, Janice, Cy, Jasmine, Theron and Kris are all so kind and I know my fur babies will be well taken care of, played with and loved in my absence. The groomer, Emelynn, is incredible and my pups don't hate her, hahahahaha, that's a HUGE step up from their previous opinion on groomers, but seriously they LOVE her and it is so convenient for them to have their spa day while they are there instead of having to make another trip somewhere else. Can not say enough good things about this place and the people, I only wish I could give it 6 stars!!

Our family met groomer Sarah at our vet clinic, and when she and her team opened their new space, we knew we would be coming here! We have two dogs with very different fur types, and Sarah always does the BEST job grooming our dogs. Their team is very communicative when our dogs are ready for pick up, and takes extra special care since our dogs are a bit anxious. They have a wonderful facility for dogs to not only get pampered, but to be cared for and play with their fellow canines. Cannot recommend more, perfect for your furbaby!

My fur babies weren't traumatized after they visited the groomer, HURRAY!!
My 120 pound dog was bathed and they took out all of his dense winter undercoat which is a huge task. He looked and smelled fabulous and again, he wasn't all stressed out.
Nothing but high praise and compliments, definitely will be returning and recommending!!
